Smiley

Smiley is a Grande Dame of hound dogs and she is my best friend.  Her OTHER best friend is Melissa.  When I tell her she is going to Melissa’s she waits by the door with her tail wagging.   She is a frequent guest at the Canine Club and has a reserved spot in the yard with her name on it (at least according to her) which she has pegged for the best naps in the sun ever.

Olive

I know that Olive can be a large diva in a small package, and I know that when she stays at the Canine Club her demands are met in full, even though her backstage rider is a long one.

Sawyer & Finn

Finn and Sawyer are my dogs.  They stay with Melissa a lot.  They are both huge and rambunctious.  I was a little worried they might wreck her house, but instead, they come back to mine with better manners than when they left.

Jeff – Finn & Sawyer’s Dad

Rae

Rae is a little leery of other dogs and I was worried the first time about her staying at Melissa’s, but instead of her coming home strange and neurotic, she came home happy.  She made quick friends with Ambassador Bourqx and ended up gaining some confidence in her place in the world.  Needless to say, she’s been back many times.

Judy – Rae’s Lady

Idget

We have two kooky dogs and they are lucky to get to stay at the Canine Club with Melissa.  Not only does she let them sleep in the bed with her, she lets them burrow under the covers too, like they do at home.  We didn’t think Idget would  make any new friends besides Toaster, but Bourqx is definitely his new B.F.F.   So nice!

Togi

Togi is a great dog, but had never stayed away from home before.  We brought his best friend Auggie with him the first time and they had a ball.  We are all more comfortable now with the thought of being away from each other for a night or two, thanks to Melissa and the Canine Club.
